How come you republicans blame the stimulus failure on government?
Note: Assume that our taxes are being used for: A government agency handling health care inefficiently; a government agency handling education inefficiently; a government agency handling transportation inefficiently; a government agency handling immigration inefficiently…
The stimulus is being used by private entities, not the government! Whilst your ‘pro-capitalists’ like to blame the government for our economic downturn[and you would be right thanks to Mr Bush], you fail to acknowledge that it is the private sector [which you embrace] who is mismanaging the funds and not creating jobs for us, and it isn’t the government’s fault. The government just put gas in the tank, and the bankers, the contractors, and the big capitalist fat cats who have let us down are driving all over the place. Long live deregulation and no government oversight, right? Yes, I know, we should have not bailed out anyone, and let the country go down with everyone’s savings and jobs, and we all should have taken a dive in the name of a few capitalist fat cats. Give me a break.

keep sending all your money to Obama for his cronies……..the tax payers will handle this……..

this is obama’s economy, he has been in office long enough that it is his, it is obama’s policies that have failed there it is his, time for him to man up and take responsibility

Your assumption is wrong

The private sector is not getting any of the money! IF it was then the economy would be fine.

Obama gave the money to government agencies, banks and other governmental agencies that do not produce anything - that’s why the economy sucks - the private industry is not getting any of the money.

Its so sad.everything ,everywhere is Geroge Bush’s fault. When will it be Obama’s fault that the country is still broke.
RoseRed2 | Nov 24, 2009

Enough time has passed for this to be "Obama’s economy", and here are the FACTS about it;

Under Mr. Bush, the Dow Jones Industrial Index went from 10,860 in 2001, when he was elected to 8,279 in Jan 2009 when his Presidency ended, an impressive (and historical) decline of 23.7%.
Under Obama, it has gone from 8,279 to 10,433 (as of today), a gain of 2,154points, or 26.02%

It’s time for Obama to "take the blame", LOL!

This is why liberalism is a mental disorder. What the f are you talking about?

The so-called stimulus was just a big payoff to all the labor unions and other democratic supporters who got Obama elected. The only way to create jobs is for the govt. to shut up, get out of the way and let the private sector live, grow and create them.

The entire issue is not government inefficiency. It’s the fact that government cannot and never has created jobs (other than govt. jobs).

No, give US a break!

Gee… you made your own argument look bad.
WHO was in CHARGE of the failed Stimulus?
The Govt. is in charge of Medicare and Medicaid.= Failure
The Govt. is in charge of the Railroads. (transportation) = Failure
The Govt. is in charge of stopping Illegal Immigration at our borders. = Total Failure.
The Govt. is in charge of the Auto Industry. (only Ford is doing well, but they did not accept the Govt. offer.)
The Govt. dolled out all of the money to the Banking Industry and told them how to restructure. =More Failures each month.
Did ANYONE in Washington take a Pay cut or a CUT in Benefits?

Don’t worry, I blame the CEO’s that exploited our trust. However, the government did not put enough oversight and regulation on something this big. We are talking about $787 BILLION and they just handed it over basically. And then I blame the American people for not be watchful enough and paying attention to the CEO’s and the government. Everyone is at fault, but no one wants to accept their responsibility.
